Zapier
Reach the rest of the catalogue through a Catch Hook
There is no Take Sales app in the Zapier directory yet: worth saying plainly. What does work today, with everything in the catalogue, is Zapier’s own Webhooks trigger: point a Take Sales webhook at a Catch Hook URL and every event becomes the first step of a Zap.
Read the documentationWhat moves between the two
A Take Sales event fires and posts to the Catch Hook URL Zapier gave you.
The payload arrives as structured fields, ready to map onto the next step.
Anything in the Zapier catalogue can be that next step: a sheet, a Slack message, a CRM the platform does not integrate with natively.
Setting it up
- 01
In Zapier, create a Zap with “Webhooks by Zapier: Catch Hook” as the trigger and copy the URL.
- 02
In Take Sales, create a webhook pointing at that URL and pick the events.
- 03
Fire a test event so Zapier learns the payload shape, then build the rest of the Zap.
Questions
- Why no native app?
- Because the webhook covers the same ground today. A directory listing is a distribution question, not a capability one, and we would rather say so than imply an app exists.
- Does it cost a Zapier task per event?
- Yes: each delivery consumes a task, so subscribe the endpoint only to the events that actually trigger work.
